Why Mindful Meditation for Lawyers?
I am a Certified Meditation Instructor who is ready to help professionals explore mindfulness and develop a deeper sense of emotional intelligence through the practice of mindful meditation.
Mindfulness is defined as “a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.”
As Director of Business Development and Marketing for a premiere law firm, I have a fundamental understanding of the stressors and work-life challenges of lawyers. I have learned – and seen – how much the mind can influence the body – either positively or negatively. Integrating mindfulness into a busy lifestyle will improve both mind and body health. Meditation is one of the best ways to improve or strengthen a positive mindful state.
